Part-time Shop Assistant (3-Month Contract)

Position: Shop Assistant
Type: Part-time (2 days/week) with potential for growth
Location: On-site
Preferred Start Date: December 17, 2024 (Tuesday)

We are looking for a part-time shop assistant with strong initiative, determination, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and requests effectively. 

Amora Atelier is a small artist-run business that started in 2021. We offer a wide range of products illustrated and designed by the artist/owner herself. We will be needing only one (1) shop assistant for now, and it's mainly to help us produce merch, manage inventory, and restock partner stores.

Shop Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, unpacking, and arranging new shipments from suppliers and manufacturers
  • Arranging and labeling products
  • Packing online orders
  • Managing & tracking store inventory
  • Helping with merch production (e.g. stickers, button pins, etc.)
  • Printing and cutting stickers, packaging, and backing cards for products (you will be taught how to perform these tasks correctly)
  • Helping maintain the studio's cleanliness
  • Rearranging and organizing the studio when needed

Salary:

  • ₱550.00 per day.
  • You will be paid every Friday.

Working Conditions:

  • 2 days/week for 3 months.
  • Preferred working days are Mondays and Thursdays, but this can be adjusted depending on your availability.
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

  • Art Markets and Conventions: We occasionally join events/bazaars/conventions during weekends, and your assistance may be needed in such instances. The daily rate will be higher as you will be required to engage with customers face-to-face and assist me with the booth/table set-up during ingress and egress.
    • Market/Convention Daily Rate: ₱650.00
    • Free transportation to/from the venue.
    • Free lunch. 
    • You will be given a bonus if the target amount of gross sales is reached.

Location:

  • We are located in a home studio in Imus, Cavite.

      Requirements:

      • No work experience is required, but we prefer tech-savvy candidates. You will be trained on how to use and operate our printers and cutting machines.
      • Students are also preferred candidates as this is a part-time gig only.
      • We prefer it if you are into Gaming, Anime, and Pop Culture since most of our products are centered around these themes.
      • It is also ideal if you are residing in Imus, Cavite.
      • Bonus points if you are familiar with several programs including, but not limited to Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and Google Sheets.
